60 SECOND LAINE-WHAT'S THE GOAL?

The ants go marching one by one, hurrah hurrah, the ants go marching one by one, hurrah hurrah, the ants go marching one by one the little stops to suck his thumb and they all go marching down into the ground to get out of the rain. Boom, boom, boom, boom...boom, boom, boom...

Recently this song kept my momentum going while hiking in Glacier National park trails.
It usually ends at ten but I think we made it to twenty.

The scenery...spectacular...each moment we hiked built on the next steps each topping one view to another. I simply can't describe the beauty of Montana.

As I hiked I would always question "What's our goal?" In protest my party would yell back "Stop asking that, we don't need a goal"!

I need a goal...it keeps my momentum going.

How about you? What keeps you going?

Even in everyday life my personality type likes goals and it keeps me going.

What's the goal?

"Dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with Jesus." 2 Peter 3:14

What Peter was talking about was the new heaven and the new earth which we are waiting for. While we wait the goal for us is to make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with Jesus.

Prayer:  Father in heaven my goal is to love myself, love you more and love others. Help me each day as I await your return. Amen.

GLORY BE!
