2 Corinthians 12:10 10 that is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
My grace is enough; it's all you need.
My strength comes into its own in your weakness.
Once I heard that, I was glad to let it happen. I quit focusing on the handicap and began appreciating the gift. It was a case of Christ's strength moving in on my weakness. Now I take limitations in stride, and with good cheer, these limitations that cut me down to size—abuse, accidents, opposition, bad breaks. I just let Christ take over! And so the weaker I get, the stronger I become.
Dear Friend:
In life we sometimes feel like we have some weaknesses. Examples of that could be anxiety, worry, and anger. We know that people or circumstances could make these weaknesses appear. Some days I wake up feeling weak and this verse always pops into my mind. I wrote it above in two versions for you to get the idea of what God wants to say to you today. When we admit our weaknesses we learn to turn to God and let Him work things outs.
My grace is enough; it’s all you need. My strength comes into its own in your weakness. –God-
Let’s pray about it: Lord I want to quit focusing on the handicap and begin appreciating the gift. So take over Christ and help me to remember the weaker I get, the stronger I become. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
Appreciating God,
Elaine
